The National Park Ranthambhor Reserve is part of the Tigre, and is in Sawai MadhopurIn the province Rajasthan. The Chambal River crosses the land creating a fertile area ideal for wildlife, home to numerous species of plants and animals.
Of the 1334 square miles occupied by the reserve, 392 belong to the National Park. The park's name derives from Fort RanthambhorLocated within its boundaries. Most safaris are conducted in this area go on their territory, often neglecting other animal sanctuaries around.
The National Park Ranthambhor is characterized by its tropical climate and generous forests extending over two mountain ranges: Aravalis and Vindhyas. The area is surrounded by green fields and plains covered with fertile, moist environment favored by the region to enjoy during the summer.
The tiger is undoubtedly the main protagonist of Ranthambhor. Although usually nocturnal behavior, life in the reserve adjust their habits and so it is possible to observe these majestic cats wandering lonely during the day. The large number of copies is a guarantee of the display of at least one of them during the ride.
The biggest competitor is the ferocity of the tiger crocodile, which can usually be seen sunbathing on the shores of lakes in the park. Almost three meters long make it the largest inhabitant of these waters, and in awe of all the fish that live with him.
Leopards also abound in the land of Ranthambhor. Although its population is not as large as the tigersHas gained importance in recent years. Because of their natural competition with the Tigers, who are the majority are not like this in the middle of the park, but are often seen in the periphery of the field.
