The Golden Triangle of India is the ideal tourist circuit in this country. It is composed of three main cities: Delhi , Agra and Jaipur , households owning lavish monuments and unique architecture. The combination of these three destinations provides an overview of the cultural heritage of India, with contrasts that are a mosaic of color and history. Of course, each of these cities has its own charm, so we see some of the attractions of living there.
Delhi
India's capital and seat of government power, Delhi is on the west bank of the river Yamuna. In her living monuments that reflect the majesty of ancient India to modern skyscrapers.
There are also museums around the country, and offers endless proposals when shopping. From huge malls to buy crafts fairs. Its gardens, its range of cultural events and outstanding restaurants complete the picture.
Agra
The city of Agra is well known for being home to the Taj Mahal, one of the most recognizable landmarks worldwide. His pace of life "old" and its architectural gems make this a memorable destination on the banks of the river Yamuna.
Jaipur
Jaipur, the Pink City, is another open air museum of beautiful old buildings. With three centuries old, Jaipur is a place for walking, enjoying the comings and goings of its residents, visiting gardens and knowing its colorful bazaars.
The road to Jaipur usually include Amber , located about 10 miles away. This city was once the capital of the state, and being much older than Jaipur, witnessed many dynasties and object construction.
While Delhi-Agra-Jaipur (and eventually, Amber) is the quintessential Golden Triangle of India on a travel gency , is not unique. There are other golden triangles in the south (Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty), eastern (Konark-Puri-Bhubaneswar) and the state of Tamil Nadu (Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Kanchipuram).
