City Chandigarh owns a number of peculiarities that away from more conventional destinations in India. For starters, it is the capital of two states: Punjab and Haryana but does not belong to any of them. It is administered by the federal government as an independent territory.
Also their attractions deviate significantly from those in general we have used the territory of India. Then we will know only two of them: Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake.

Not far from there, nestled at the foot of the Shivalik hillsThe Sukhna Lake is an artificial water surface of 3 square kilometers. Its origins date back to 1958 when the dam was built of Sukhna Choe, a stream aquifer descending from the summit.
Surrounded by the mountain landscape and a forest preserve, the lake is a key point in the life of the residents of Chandigarh, who gather there to enjoy the beauty.
It is also, of course, a prominent tourist attraction in the region. Even many migratory birds arrive in Flights from as far away as Siberia, making this site a favorite of painters, travelers and families.
